The fuel injection era, that began in 1957, spawned what is arguably the greatest production fuel injected V-8. The 1963 L-84 rated at 360 horsepower and gave absolutely awesome performance. With a beautifully finished fuel injection block, ignition shield and Corvette valve colors it was advante garde for it's time. These and many more details have been faithfully executed in this 1/6th scale model.

Ford 427 SOHC Engine

Ford's Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) 427 was based on the standard 427 FE side-oiler block, with a unique set of heads. It made 616bhp @ 7500 with one or 658 bhp @ 7500 with two 780 vac-secs. Authenticity confirmed by Ford Engineers who designed the original 427 engine
